When the music community comes together for a cause
On 28 May 2026, Creative Resilience Foundation organised the charity music event “Air for BOSSKAR WILD” at Mixtape 5 in Sofia. The event supported Stefan Igribozov, known in music circles as BOSSKAR WILD.
Stefan is a long-standing DJ, music enthusiast and active member of the Bulgarian club scene. After being diagnosed with severe respiratory failure, he faced the need for a lung transplant in Austria.
Although the medical procedure, costing approximately EUR 250,000, was expected to be covered by the health insurance system, approximately EUR 25,000 more was needed for treatment-related expenses and his stay abroad.

Music, volunteering and solidarity
The initiative was organised by Deyan Minchev, founder of Creative Resilience Foundation, also known on the Bulgarian hip-hop scene by his stage name MD Beddah. With over 20 years in hip-hop music and a longstanding personal connection with Stefan, Deyan took responsibility for organising the charity music event and also joined the line-up as a performer.
For him, the event was not only a personal commitment to a friend and fellow musician, but also an opportunity to bring artists and audiences together in support of someone who has dedicated much of his life to music.
The project was made possible by the voluntary work of the organising team and the support of artists who participated without a fee.
Mixtape 5 provided a hall free of charge for the event.
The foundation's team handled coordination with the participating artists and communications around the event.
The foundation paid for the social media advertising campaigns so the event reached the right audience.
The programme featured members of the Bulgarian music scene, including Gerata, Toto, Gradski Legendi, Abstract and Managua Slang, with DJ support from 56 Reasons Crew.
All proceeds from the EUR 10 admission tickets, together with the money collected in the donation box, were passed on to support Stefan.

Results and impact
Approximately EUR 2,000 raised
Thanks to the participating artists, volunteers and visitors to the event, we raised approximately EUR 2,000, which was handed over to Stefan to cover expenses related to his treatment.
The event was part of a wider public campaign involving other charity initiatives and direct donations. Through the combined efforts of many people, the required amount of approximately EUR 25,000 was raised.
At the time of this account, Stefan is in Austria, awaiting the medical procedure.
With this initiative we hope we have contributed to Stefan's chance to receive the treatment he needs and to recover. We sincerely hope he continues with what he loves most — music.
Even if his health does not allow him to return to active club performances, we believe he will find a way to continue his musical work, including through his own radio show.
Stefan has been part of the music community for many years. For us, supporting him is not simply charity, but support for a person who has given much of his life to music.
Thank you sincerely to all the artists, partners, volunteers and visitors who made the event possible.
